Ashapura Dam

Ashapura Dam sits at the Rajkot-side entrance to Gondal, next to the Ashapura Mata temple complex, and is open at all hours. Its wetlands attract a wide range of birds, including migratory species through the winter, which makes it a favourite with bird watchers and nature photographers. Evenings, around 6 pm, are the popular time for a walk or a picnic, and visitors often feed the ducks and fish. Good for kids. આશાપુરા ડેમ ગોંડલમાં રાજકોટ તરફના પ્રવેશ પાસે, આશાપુરા માતા મંદિર પરિસરની બાજુમાં આવેલો છે અને ચોવીસ કલાક ખુલ્લો રહે છે. અહીંની ભીની જમીન અનેક પ્રકારનાં પક્ષીઓને આકર્ષે છે, જેમાં શિયાળામાં આવતાં યાયાવર પક્ષીઓનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય છે — તેથી પક્ષી નિહાળનારા અને પ્રકૃતિ ફોટોગ્રાફરો માટે આ પ્રિય સ્થળ છે. સાંજે આશરે ૬ વાગ્યાનો સમય ચાલવા અને પિકનિક માટે લોકપ્રિય છે, અને મુલાકાતીઓ બતક તથા માછલીઓને ખવડાવે છે. બાળકો માટે અનુકૂળ.
